Artificial Meat - the wave of the future? I hope not. My husband calls tofu "fake meat". He will eat it under duress. I happen to like it. I don't think we need to go any further down the fake meat road when there are other alternatives that have already been proven safe.

Thanks for putting on such a great show every two weeks, Jayson! It takes a lot of commitment to consistently produce such high quality content.

Happy New Year!

2 things I do to promote fat loss:
1. It can be easy to forget to drink all the water that we should. I set an alarm on my watch to go off every hour to remind me to drink a cup of water.
2. Instead of just peanut butter I use this peanut sauce to dip raw veggies whenever I feel a craving:
1/4 C peanut butter
2 T rice vinegar
1 T reduced sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 t brown sugar
1 clove garlic, minced (about 1/2 t)
1 t any chilli sauce (thinking of adding more next time)
2 T hot water - to thin it out to a dipping sauce consistency.
Since I buy already minced garlic at the store, it takes no time to make this sauce. There's always some in the fridge. I just add a bit of water if necessary to thin it out each time I use it. Nuking it is nice too.
