People should throw their bathroom scales right out the window. Or smash them with a sledge hammer.
Don’t worry about what the scale says.
Your clothes will tell you the true story. If they fit great, you’re on the right path. If they don’t, well, you’ve got work to do.
STOP looking at the scale!

I have a question. If you are on 1800 calories a day, and the day you exercise you burn 4 or 5 hundred calories, should you increase you calorie intake that day to 2200 – 2300?
thanks

Only if you are trying to maintain your weight and not lose weight. If you are wanting to lose weight then don’t increase the calories.
