#1. The idea of going into a resturant or burger place & they repeat your order and give you total calories, etc. sounds good – but –
if people hear total calories & decide to change or cancel order – the place of business wouldn’t like that because they would be losing business and $$$$$.
#2, I tried to go to the website of:
SimpleFatLossReceipes.com and couldn’t find it. Please help. My email is: carolb@medscreening.com
Thanks Jayson, I enjoy all your videos.

I have celiac disease. I also work long hours in retail, so have to take my food with me. I’m stuck, stumped, whatever. Do your recipes deal with gluten issues? Any hints on easy to take to work gluten free meal?
November 4th, 2009 at 8:41 pm
I don’t work with many celiac disease clients so I don’t have much information for you. Sorry.
Maybe some of the people watching this show have some resources for you regarding easy to make and take to work gluten free meals.

I love the info about eating after a certain time. That typically confuses the heck out of people.

Great show Jayson. Spot on as usual.

A registered dietitian who doesn’t know any options for Celiac disease clients? wow, sad and disappointing. Time to do a little research Jason.
November 4th, 2009 at 10:53 pm
It is not my specialty. I can’t be an expert in everything. That is why there are dietitians that specialize in celiac disease, renal disease, diabetes, etc. If you want to be an expert in a niche of nutrition then you have to study that niche. Celiac disease is not my niche. She doesn’t need a general answer. She already knows what to not eat and that answer is gluten. She is looking for quick meals or recipes that she can make and take with her to work. Since celiac disease is not my niche I don’t have specific recipes on hand or have websites that specialize in that. That is not what I study to be an expert in. Again because it is not my niche.
Weight loss is my niche.

Thanks for the invaluable information about hormones influencing how your body functions. Makes sense.

Just a comment for the person who has celiac disease. There are several products at health food stores including bread, cookies, crackers and other grains that are gluten-free. They cost a little more but worth it.
They also have books that teach you how to bake your own products as well.

A friend of mine told me at a recent trip to the gym, he noticed the body-builders eating a kind of potato chip in between repetitions. Apparently, the fat or oil on the chips has anabolyic properties and goes straight to their muscles. Do you know anything about this? I’ve never heard of such a product, and does it actually help build muscle?
November 5th, 2009 at 7:04 pm
If you could get me the name of the product I can research it for you. I have not heard or seen that though. I wouldn’t be surprised though since they put functional ingredients in cookies now also.

I am using your recepies book for fat loss, it is great, the food is great tasting, varried.I only find difficult the no carb day.I am craving carbs big time, and I feel hungry .What can I do to combat the cravings?( not craving any junk, only the stuff that i eat the other two days)
November 6th, 2009 at 3:10 pm
Eat more lean protein and vegetables on your no carb day. If you feel hungry you usually aren’t getting in enough calories.

What are the benefits if any of taking cider vinegar? Does it boost metabolism by any significant level?
February 25th, 2010 at 3:29 am
I have not seen any significant research showing cider vinegar to boost metabolism to a beneficial level.

I clicked on the link and it took me to the page with the video that discusses the recipe product.
I suggest you try again. It seems to be working properly.
